A fourth keynote speaker has been added to the Leicester Tigers' inaugural HUDDLE for business leaders and their future stars at Welford Road on Tuesday, November 3.Award-winning entrepreneur Simon Woodroffe OBE has been added to a list of keynotes alongside Rugby World Cup winner and TV commentator Ben Kay MBE; former Director General of the CBI, Lord Digby Jones; and CEO of Radley, Justin Stead.   Woodroffe spent 30 years in the entertainment business with his production companies staging concerts for artists including The Moody Blues, Madness, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder and George Michael. In 1997, he founded YO! Sushi, the first restaurant on London's Poland Street, and it became an overnight phenomenon.   In 1999 Simon won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and became part of the CBI/BCC Ambassador of Entrepreneurism campaign before joining BBC’s Dragons Den panel in 2005.   HUDDLE promises to be a highlight in the Tigers business calendar, giving partners, clients and the business community the opportunity to rub shoulders with industry experts and rugby legends during Leicestershire Business Fortnight.   Aimed at senior decision-makers, the HUDDLE will include business masterclasses, Business Scrums and keynote speeches; hard-hat tours with Tigers legends of Welford Road’s new West Stand; top-class catering from breakfast to afternoon tea; and a health and wellness area. Delegates will also be given the opportunity to book meeting space on the day to work away from the office.   Each keynote will speak about their experiences in industry as well as joining masterclass sessions for up to 100 people.   HUDDLE masterclasses include ‘The Power of Partnerships: How working together offers bigger opportunities’ presented by Helen Donnelan, Head of Inward Investment at Leicester City Council, former Tigers player and charity founder Matt Hampson, and Byron Dixon, owner of an award-winning antimicrobial business, Corium Solutions Ltd.   Our more intimate ‘Business Scrums’ are limited to just 20 guests and will provide the chance to discuss the implementation of ideas across the day. Scrums include ‘CRM and Big Data: How to use data to drive revenue’ with Mario Zambas, former CIO at Dubai Sports City, and Aidan Cooney, founder of Opta, the world's leading provider of sports performance data.   Tickets for the HUDDLE are available to purchase online by clicking here or phone us on 0116 319 8888 (option 2).   Alternatively, send us your details to [email protected] and we can invoice you directly.   For more information on the event go to www.leicestertigers.com/huddle.
