Leicester Tigers are delighted to announce that second-row forward Graham Kitchener has agreed a new contract with the club.Kitchener, 25, is in his fourth season at Welford Road and has already passed 70 appearances for the club since his arrival from Worcester Warriors in the summer of 2011. He has also gained international recognition with England Saxons and earned a call-up to the senior national squad.
Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill said: “Kitch has established himself as a key part of a very good group of second-row forwards in his four seasons here.
“As well as developing his individual skills, he has taken on more responsibility within the squad and we want to see him continue to grow as part of a group of young leaders here.
“He has been a very consistent performer for us in big matches in the Aviva Premiership and in Europe, and we believe he can get better and better here.”
Kitchener has started 14 games this season and was a try-scorer for Tigers in the Aviva Premiership Final triumph in 2013 after ending his first season at the club with an appearance in the 2012 Final at Twickenham.
