Final places are available to book now on the Leicester Tigers Rugby Camp at Denstone College next week.
Tigers have kicked off a new year of camps for young players at SMB Brooksby Campus this week and then move on to Denstone College in Staffordshire from Monday (February 21).
Alternative outdoor pitches and indoor facilities are available at the venue to ensure coaching can continue in the event of poor weather.
The Development Camp for teenagers is already full, but places are still available on tag sessions for the youngest players, the core skills camp and the girls-only sessions at Denstone.
Tag Rugby Camps encourage players in the under-7 and under-8 groups, with three mornings (9.30am-12.00pm) of games and activities to support the development of movement, rugby and social skills. No previous experience is necessary as tag provides a perfect introduction to the game. Price £55.
Core Camps run over 4 or 5 full days (9.30am-3.30pm) for players aged from under-9s to under-13s, following age-grade guidelines, with sessions based on fun activities, rugby skills and fundamental fitness. Price £120.
Development Camps take place over three afternoons (1.00-3.30pm) for the under-14, 15 and 16 age groups, with a sharper focus on tactical and technical skills alongside athletic development, all based on the themes of the club’s junior academy and ACE college programmes. Price £55.
Girls-Only Camps are suitable for all abilities in the under-13, 15 and 18 groups to develop skills and game awareness. Price £75.
