Students are invited to head to a FREE Open Day at Brooksby Melton College this Saturday, May 12 to find out more about the colleges sports courses.
The college partners Leicester Tigers in supporting the development of its academy and developing player programme (DPP) teams.
Sixth form students can apply to take part in a number of BTEC courses, whilst those looking to study the college’s higher education course can gain a FdSc Sport Science qualification.
Taking place at the Brookbsy Campus (LE14 2LJ) from 10.00am – 12.00pm, the open day will offer an insight into the course and campus facilities which combine classroom-led and practical work experience opportunities as well as 8-10 hours a week of coaching from Tigers qualified team as part of education timetable.
Visitors looking to study sixth form and further education level can explore:
- BTEC Level 3 Sport
- BTEC Level 3 Sport Science
- BTEC Level 3 Agriculture
Each of the FE courses are suitable for 16 years and above.
For students applying to go to university next year may want to add our HE offer as part of their ‘Extras’ choice:
- FdSc Sport Science (top up year for full BSc available)
Students looking to apply must be 18 years old and above.
