Massive demand for a piece of the Tigers action

Figure image
More than half of the 10,000 seats in Leicester Tigers' new Caterpillar Stand at Welford Road have already been snapped up for the whole of the 2009/10 season.

The first phase of stadium redevelopment will provide fantastic new facilities for supporters when the defence of the Guinness Premiership crown begins in September. More than 5,000 seats have been already sold in the Caterpillar Stand through season ticket sales and corporate seating, including the exclusive new 1880 Club.

Diamond category seats in the Caterpillar Stand are close to selling-out and demand is high in all other areas.

Business has been brisk since Tigers concluded the 2008/09 campaign by lifting the Guinness Premiership trophy and playing in a fifth Heineken Cup Final, with 10,000 season ticket sales in the first two weeks of the summer and June seeing the total overhaul last season’s figure of 12,300 season ticket sales.

Now more than 60 per cent of the whole Welford Road stadium capacity has been sold for the entire new season.

The best way to guarantee the best available seats – or a place on the Crumbie Terrace - for the biggest games is to join the ranks of season ticket holders. Prices start from just £255 for adult terrace and £285 for adult seating.

Season tickets cover 11 Guinness Premiership home games, three Heineken Cup home games and two home games in the new-look Anglo-Welsh Cup – that’s an extra game compared with last season and at the same price.

Season ticket holders also have priority for knockout games in all three competitions.

Get right behind the defending English champions and enjoy a piece of the action:
* Enjoy club history in the making when the new Caterpillar Stand witnesses its first Guinness Premiership action in the opening home game of the season against Newcastle Falcons
* Experience the emotions of high-intensity league meetings with old rivals Bath Rugby and London Wasps
* Welcome Leicester legends Dean Richards and Neil Back in the colours of Harlequins and Leeds Carnegie respectively.
* Witness another top-class Guinness Premiership clash with neighbours Northampton Saints
* Check out heavyweight encounters with Gloucester Rugby and Sale Sharks
* Cheer on Tigers against Worcester Warriors, Saracens and 2008/09 Guinness Premiership finalists London Irish
* Share in Anglo-Welsh Cup clashes with Bath Rugby and Newport Gwent Dragons
* Follow your team in big European dates with big-spending Clermont Auvergne and Ospreys, and Italian visitors Viadana.

Season ticket packages are available for one, two or three years and an easy-payment plan is in operation.

A new ‘Young Adult and Full-Time Student’ category has been introduced this year to help supporters bridge the gap between junior and adult rates.

Contact the Tigers ticket office now by calling 0844 856 1880 or log on to the club website to download an information pack. Or you can call into the Tigers ticket office at Welford Road. The office is open as usual during the redevelopment work on the stadium.

Don’t run the risk of missing out on any of the action.
