Places are filling up fast at Masterclasses during the May half-term at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.

Open to Boys and Girls from Under-12s to Under-18s, Masterclasses offer the unique opportunity to be coached by Leicester Tigers legends on the famous turf.

Each day, led by a new lead coach, focuses on a specific area of the game for youngsters to develop alongside fellow young players from across the region.

In 2025, the coaches are Craig Newby, Harry Simmons, and Tom Varndell.

Monday, May 26 – Kicking Masterclass

Coach: Harry Simmons
Focus: Mastering various kicking techniques, including goal kicking and tactical kicking strategies. 

Tuesday, May 27 – Attack Masterclass

Coach: Tom Vandell
Focus: Enhancing attacking skills, spatial awareness, and decision-making on the field

Wednesday, May 28 – Defence Masterclass

Coach: Craig Newby
Focus: Developing effective defensive techniques and understanding team defensive structures
