Leicester Tigers are back on home soil this weekend for the opening home game in this season's LV= Cup. Kick-off against London Irish is at 3pm on Sunday. Tickets are available now.

Tigers won the LV= Cup in thrilling style last season, beating neighbours Northampton Saints in the Final at Sixways, despite losing the opening pool fixture against the Scarlets in Llanelli.

After defeat to Saracens last Friday, Tigers now need to beat London Irish to maintain a challenge in this year’s Anglo-Welsh knockout competition.

In team news ahead of the game, Tigers include Mathew Tait, Dan Bowden, Micky Young and Rob Hawkins in a team led by skipper Brett Deacon, while Irish include former Leicester duo George Skivington and Ian Humphreys.

The Tigers Club Store at Welford Road and the ticket office are open all day Saturday and from 9am on Sunday. Extra shop points are open around the stadium on matchday. This weekend there is a special season ticket holder offer in the club stores. Click here for details.

All five matchday bus services run by Arriva will be in operation this Sunday, running from Market Harborough, Oakham, Nuneaton, Market Bosworth and Coalville. For more details and this week’s timetable, click here.

Turnstiles for Sunday's match, and all bars and food kiosks, open at 1.00pm.

Food outlets at Welford Road, including Domino’s Ready 2 Go pizza, Flaming Good Burger, Frank’s New York Street Hot-Dogs and Henry’s Chicken, as well as the Hog Roast stand in the Final Whistle, will all be open throughout the afternoon. The Domino’s outlet is located on the top floor of the Caterpillar Stand, and there is a ‘pop up’ unit on the ground floor. Pizza sellers also circulate inside the stadium.

The Junior Tigers Club in the Final Whistle is open from 1.00pm with games and activities for members aged under 16. There is also the chance to lead the teams on to the pitch as a matchday mascot or join the Tiger Cubs parade. Find out how in the JTC VIP area in Final Whistle.

In Sunday’s match programme we hear from the men at the heart of the action in last week’s historic win over the Maori and also see what the fans had to say after the match. There is a chat with last season’s LV= Cup heroes and George Chuter’s Inside Line as well as all the news from Welford Road. The programme is available throughout the stadium, price £3.

Match tickets for Sunday are still available. Phone the Tigers ticket office on 0844 856 1880 or call in at Welford Road (open until 5pm Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday and from 9am on Sunday). Or book online any time.

The collection point on matchdays for pre-ordered tickets is outside the ticket office in the corner of the Caterpillar Stand plaza.

After the game supporters can enjoy live music with Rock Bottom in Final Whistle and the ticket office will remain open for home and away ticket sales.
