Matchday guide: Tigers at home this Sunday

Leicester Tigers are back at Welford Road this Sunday for a third successive home game, with Saracens the opposition in Round 7 of the Aviva Premiership. Kick-off is at 1pm and tickets are available now.

Saracens have lost just one league game so far this season, while Tigers are looking to build on the momentum gained from back-to-back win in the LV= Cup over the last two weeks and the return of international prop Dan Cole after a neck injury.
 
There is still time to book your place at the game. Book at the Tigers ticket office at Welford Road or phone 0116 319 8888 (option 2). The office is open 8.30am-5pm Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday and from 9am up on matchday.

All matchday ticket collections are from the Collection Point on the plaza outside the MET-Rx Stand, and not from the ticket office. Please allow plenty of time for ticket collections and to get to your places in the stadium ahead of kick-off.
 
The Junior Tigers Club VIP area in the MET-Rx Stand is open for two hours ahead of kick-off each week with activities and competitions for young supporters, including the opportunity to run out with Welford the mascot as a Tiger Cub or even join the players as a matchday mascot. Membership is free and you can sign up on Sunday.
 
The Tigers roadshow vehicle, known as The Maul, hosts the Speed Pass Challenge and fan photobooth on the plaza ahead of kick-off.
 
Turnstiles and all bars and food kiosks at Welford Road open at 11am and the Tigers Club Store is open all day with the full range of home and away kit, leisurewear and souvenirs plus the ‘3 for 2’ mix and match Christmas range.
 
There are extra merchandise units inside the stadium after the turnstiles are opened and the pop-up shop outside the MET-Rx Stand is hosting a three-day clearance sale on selected lines during this weekend. Why not call in on your way to the game?
 
The new 500-page Official History of Leicester Tigers is available to buy in Final Whistle before and after the game as well as in the Club Store at home games up to Christmas. This is the definitive history of the club with season stats, player biographies, full history from 1880 and an encyclopaedia section full of facts and figures.
 
Sunday’s match programme includes a Barbarians scrapbook with photos and fan comments from the historic fixture at Welford Road last week, plus news and views from inside the Tigers camp, Matt Hampson’s Heroes & Villains column with Graham Kitchener and Scott Hamilton’s description of the work of the Rugby Players’ Association  The 100-page programme is on sale throughout the stadium, price £3.
 
Ahead of kick-off this week we will be joined by young supporters as part of the Ultimate Aviva Matchday Experience and at half-time one young supporter will face the club mascot in Challenge Welford on the pitch. There is also half-time entertainment with The Big Boot, sponsored by De Montfort University.
 
Arriva’s special matchday bus services are in operation on five routes, from Market Bosworth, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Oakham and Nuneaton, and there is also a separate minibus service from Coalville. Click here for pick-up points, timetable and fare details.
