Matchday guide | Tigers versus Warriors

Leicester Tigers are back on home turf on Saturday when Worcester Warriors are the visitors to Mattioli Woods Welford Road in Round 8 of the Gallagher Premiership season.

Even with games continuing behind closed doors as part of the Covid regulations, we want create the matchday buzz with supporters using your #TigersAtHome snaps. 

Wherever you are following the action, you can share your matchday snaps in Tigers kit with the club’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts and you could win a great prize too as everyone who shares their #TigersAtHome photos or videos will be entered into our draw ahead of each home fixture to win a Matchday Pack worth £100.

Kick-off is at 3.00pm and there is live coverage of Saturday’s game scheduled on BT Sport Extra 1. Any Tigers season ticket holders without a subscription can apply for a BT Sport Match Pass to follow the action. Check your email now for full instructions from the club.

You can also keep in touch with the Matchday Live Service and vote for your Fans’ Favourite using the Tigers App. Make sure you’ve downloaded the most recent update (Apple 2.11.0 or Android 36) to receive all of the latest news and info ahead of every matchday. 

Team news is announced at noon on Friday via the club website and social media pages, followed by LTTV Team Talk with head coach Steve Borthwick.

Look out, too, for the virtual matchday mascot’s message to the team on Tigers social media and a reply from one of the team.

The matchday programme is available online so you can keep in touch wherever you are. This week’s edition features a celebration of 200 appearances for Tom Youngs, Community and Foundation news, Tigers facts and figures, spotlight on the visitors and the Junior Tigers Club page. A link to the online edition is distributed to season ticket holders on the day before the game, with all pages then made available on the website on the day of the match.
