Jonny May’s brilliant individual try in the East Midlands derby has been shortlisted for the Citizen Try of the Week.
Leicester Tigers winger May latched onto his own kick ahead, outpacing Northampton Saints full-back Ahsee Tuala to dive in at the left-hand corner for a late consolation try.
The score, May’s third in two Aviva Premiership games for the Tigers, has been included in a five-try shortlist to find the best try of Round Two. Click here to vote.
It is the second nomination for the Tigers so far this season after Manu Tuilagi’s try against Bath Rugby at Welford Road was included in the Round One shortlist.
