There will be a minute's silence before kick-off at Welford Road this Saturday in respect of the victims of the New Zealand earthquake.

Supporters are asked to move to their seats or their places on the terrace in good time before kick-off at 3.15pm to join this mark of respect.

Leicester Tigers will also be raising funds for earthquake relief in the Christchurch area of New Zealand with the sale of black wristbands in public and corporate areas on matchday.

Tigers chairman Peter Tom CBE said: “This is our first home game since the earthquake struck and the thoughts of everyone at the club are with those people who have been affected in New Zealand and their families and friends.

“Leicester Tigers have had very strong links with New Zealand rugby over many years and we want to show our support for the families there while also raising funds to assist the relief effort.”

Leicester Tigers against Saracens is a 3.15pm kick-off.
