Leicester Tigers have confirmed that full-back Niall Morris suffered a broken ankle in the Aviva Premiership semi-final at Bath last Saturday.Morris was stretchered off early in the second half of the defeat at The Recreation Ground and was taken to hospital to assess the injury before returning to Leicester.
Director of rugby Richard Cockerill confirmed that Morris has suffered an ankle break and said: “It is very unfortunate for Niall, especially after also suffering an ankle injury in the first visit to Bath this season back in September.
"He worked hard to get back to full fitness after that and was playing well in the run-in to the end of the season.
“Niall is in good hands with the medical team and will begin his rehabilitation work during the summer. We look forward to welcoming him back into the playing squad in due course.”
