The Movember fundraising efforts of the Tigers Family have been recognised with the presentation of a commemorative plaque.

Players and fans came together to raise money for Movember, a worldwide charity drive that is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men's faces during November.

The charity's aim is to raise funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

Tigers players and supporters raised almost £10,000, and Movember offered their thanks with the presentation of the plaque to Jordan Crane, who captained the Tigers team.

Jon sim, Movember’s head of communities, made the presentation and said: “The generosity of The Tiger's team and fans epitomises that of the rugby community, and the sporting community as a whole, who get behind us every year.

“You're helping change the face of men's health and we'll see you again in Movember."
