Ireland international Murphy, who did not score a Guinness Premiership try last season, grabbed crucial touchdowns in the victory against London Irish in the first home game of the season on Saturday after opening his campaign with a score in the win at Gloucester.
The 30-year-old said: I didnt score too many tries last season, but thats two tries in two games this season. Hopefully it will continue.
I was quite pleased to get over the try-line again I enjoy scoring a try on occasion!
Murphy added: I am enjoying it, very much so. I have been really loving it, especially on days when theres a little bit more ball floating around.
However, Murphy warned Tigers have plenty to work on following Saturdays narrow 24-22 win over Irish at Welford Road.
Tigers scored three tries, including Murphys 10th-minute effort that opened the scoring, but they were grateful for a late missed conversion by the Exiles to preserve their winning start to the season under new head coach Heyneke Meyer.
Murphy said: It was quite disappointing for us. We are pleased to get a win but, on the whole, I dont think we played anywhere near our potential.
We gave away some soft scores. On the flip side of that we got a win, and theres plenty to build on. We have plenty to work on for next week.
After the trip to Worcester on Saturday, Tigers face two home games. London Wasps are the visitors to Welford Road on Friday, September 26 (8.05pm kick-off), followed by Northampton Saints on Wednesday, October 1 (7.45pm kick-off).
