Murrayfield Stadium at a glance

Get in: Turnstiles and bars open at 3pm, kick-off is at 5pm and the bars will close at 8pm. There will be NO tickets on sale on matchday.

Turnstiles: Access to the stadium is via turnstiles in the North Stand, Roseburn Crescent, Roseburn Street and at the South Stand. Note there is no pedestrian access to the stadium via the West Stand turnstiles or back pitch areas.

Pass in/out: There is no facility to re-enter the stadium after initial admission.

Car/coach parking: There is no public parking at Murrayfield Stadium with the exception of disabled blue badge holders who also must have a pass issued by Murrayfield Stadium .
There are a number of parking restrictions in place around the stadium on match days.
Supporters are advised to use the two park-and-ride facilities to the west of the city, which are a 15-minute bus ride from the stadium:
• Hermiston park and ride is to the west of the A720 Edinburgh City Bypass on the A71 Calder Road. There are 500 parking spaces with a bus taking you near to the stadium every 10 minutes.
• Ingliston park and ride is to the west of the A720 Edinburgh City Bypass on the A8 at Edinburgh Airport and has 1000 parking spaces with a frequent bus service direct to the stadium.
The cost of the bus from both park and rides is £1.20 single and 70p concessions.
Limited on-street parking may be found outside the parking restrictions, approximately one mile from the stadium.

Supporters’ coaches: These will be parked in two areas, the A8 Corstorphine Road and the A71 Gorgie Road.
All coaches approaching from the M8 should follow signs for the A71 City Centre or the A8 City Centre from Hermiston Junction (1) of the M8 where they will be directed to parking areas.
Supporters approaching Edinburgh from the south should join the A720 City Bypass, follow signs for Edinburgh Airport, then leave the City Bypass at either the A71 Calder Junction or the A8 at Gogar Roundabout and follow signs. After two miles you will be directed where to park.
These areas are 5-10 minutes’ walk from the stadium.
Please note that supporters coaches should not arrive for parking until 2pm on Saturday.

Public transport/walking from city centre: There are a number of public transport services from the city centre that pass the stadium (see Lothian buses web site).
Supporters walking from the city centre should follow the A8 (Princes Street) route westbound which takes you to Roseburn Street and the turnstiles (approx 30 minutes’ walk).
Haymarket Rail station is 15 minutes’ walk from the stadium and Waverley Station is approximately 30-40 minutes’ walk.

Lothian Buses run the frequent Airlink service (100). This connects the Airport and Murrayfield with buses which run at least every 10 minutes all day, every day. Details of the service are available at www.fly-by-bus.com

Park and ride: Two Park and Ride sites are available at both Hermiston and Ingliston. Hermiston is served by service 25 which runs every 10 minutes to Gorgie, and Ingliston is served by service X48 to Murrayfield.
All services, including Airlink have extra services added to cope with matchday demand.

These instructions are provided only as a convenience. All routes are not necessarily the fastest or shortest means possible but are among the easiest to follow.

Disabled parking: This is allocated to Scottish Rugby disabled pass holders on advance application only to the Ticket Centre. 
There will be no access to the disabled parking area to supporters without the required Scottish Rugby pass. Those with Scottish Rugby Disabled Car Park passes must also display their blue badge. Please enter via Riversdale Crescent and follow directions from the stewards.

Scottish Rugby Store: The shop behind the West Stand and two units selling merchandise behind the East Stand will be open from 3pm to 8pm.

Food & drink: Hot and cold food, beverages and alcohol will be on sale. There will be no beer tent on the back pitches.

Match programmes: A4-size publications will be on sale for £5. Programmes can be pre-ordered by calling 01372 743377.

Reftalk: Reftalks will be on sale for £7 (£5 for multiples).

Public Address: No personal announcements – birthdays etc - will be able to be made over the PA.

Keep off: It is a criminal offence to run on to the pitch. We will take action against anyone who commits this offence.

Match duration: In the event of a drawn game at the final whistle, two periods of 10 minute extra time will be played. If scores are still level, the game will be decided on a place-kick competition.
