Leicester Tigers supporters joined in National Dog Day by sharing pictures of their canine friends dressed in club colours.Fans posted pictures of their Tigers Family pooches in red, white and green attire on Twitter.
They included Eleanor Catchpole, mother of Tigers’ centre George, who shared a photo of their dog Chugly in a Tigers hat.
Alan Wildman posted a picture of his dog Toby in a Tigers top, as did Jill Tidswell, whose Labrador Choco was surrounded by chocolate.
Mike Evans’ dog was pictured wearing a Tigers flag as a scarf while Wilf the Whippet was “mildly indignant” to be wearing his Tigers shirt, according to owner Corieltauvian.
We have also been sent a long-distance photo by Peter Brooks of his rescue puppy Scout from Auckland in New Zealand wearing his new winter coat.
