Do you know if there is a history of cardiovascular disease or type 2 diabetes in your family or where to start in making lifestyle choices to improve your health and well-being?
Does a trip to the supermarket fill you with dread as you try to navigate what all the food labelling means?
Do you want to know where to start to become more active and what actually counts?
If you have answered ‘yes’ to one or more of these questions then the Healthy Goals programme is here to help.
This 12-week programme of health education developed by the Leicester Diabetes Centre is being delivered from Mattioli Woods Welford Road stadium starting on Monday, April 25 (9.30am-11.30am).
Delivered by trained facilitators, you will be provided with information about your own personal risk of developing health problems and support will be given to find out what lifestyle changes will work best for you.
Each session will finish with some physical activity, helping you towards your activity goals.
Spaces are limited so, if you are interested, please contact our health manager Liz Causon by emailing [email protected].
