Richard Cockerill and Matt O'Connor will not be subject to disciplinary action by the Rugby Football Union following an investigation into allegations concerning their behaviour during the Aviva Premiership semi-final.
The RFU disciplinary officer, His Honour Judge Jeff Blackett, yesterday released a statement saying there would be no action taken into allegations that Leicester Tigers director of rugby Cockerill and head coach O’Connor abused match officials or acted in a way which was prejudicial to the interests of the game during the match against Northampton Saints on May 14.

“We accept His Honour Judge Jeff Blackett’s comment that all those involved with teams must ensure that their behaviour does not cross unacceptable boundaries.
“We will be working closely with Premiership Rugby Limited on the issue of the location of team coaches and officials on matchday.”
