Irish official Andrew Brace has been appointed as referee for the Heineken Champions Cup meeting between Leicester Tigers and ASM Clermont Auvergne at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on Saturday.
This is the second leg in the Round of 16 following Tigers’ trip to Clermont on Sunday. Tickets are on sale now.
Brace was in charge of last season’s EPCR Challenge Cup Final at Twickenham when Tigers met Montpellier.
EPCR announced all of the referee appointments for the Heineken Champions Cup Round of 16 second leg and EPCR Challenge Cup Round of 16 following a selection meeting chaired by the tournament organiser’s head of match officials, Tony Spreadbury.
Georgia’s Nika Amashukeli, who was in charge of the first meeting between Tigers and Clermont on Sunday, takes charge of the meeting between Racing 92 and Stade Francais Paris during the weekend of the second legs.
