Jonah Holmes made more metres than any other player in Leicester Tigers’ clash with Wasps, official statistics show.

Holmes, who scored two tries in his first start for Tigers in the Aviva Premiership, made 125 metres, according to the Opta Rugby Rankings.

His statistics were boosted by his brilliant run from inside his own half for his second try, which you can watch again by scrolling below. Only James Short of Exeter Chiefs (211m) made more metres across Round 10.

Will Evans was the top tackler in the game with 19 tackles. Sione Kalamafoni made the most carries (13) and won the most lineouts (4) for Tigers. Graham Kitchener made the only lineout steal in the game.

Centre Gareth Owen, who was replaced in the first half after taking a knock, beat six defenders, the fourth highest number across this weekend’s Aviva Premiership fixtures.
