Valentino Mapapalangi has been named on the Tonga bench for their opening game of the Pacific Nations Cup.

Leicester Tigers back-rower Mapapalangi, who made 21 appearances in his debut season at Welford Road, is set to win his 7th cap when Tonga take on Georgia in Fiji on Saturday (kick-off 2am BST).

Logovi’i Mulipola, meanwhile, starts for Samoa against hosts Fiji in their first game of the Pacific Nations Cup. Mulipola, who will join Newcastle Falcons after this summer’s Test series, will win his 21st international cap.
