Dan Cole says England's feet are firmly on the ground after making it two wins from two games at the start of their RBS 6 Nations campaign.Leicester Tigers prop Cole played for an hour of the 47-17 victory over Italy at Twickenham on Saturday as England ran in six tries to move to the top of the Six Nations table.
England travel to Dublin to face defending champions Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, March 1 (kick-off 3pm).
Ireland also have a 100 per cent winning record after victories against Italy and France, and Cole said: “We are happy but we have our feet on the ground.
“We are not the finished article and there is still a lot of work to be done. It was similar to Wales. We were happy with the result there but not with our start.
“We should have been better, especially early doors. We have work to do before we get to be where we want to be.
“We would have taken a 47-17 victory if you had offered us that before the game. We were happy afterwards but there is that tinge that we could have been better.”
