Pre-season preparations step up a gear

It's a busy day of pre-season preparations at Leicester Tigers today with the official kit photo shoot and first-team suit-fitting taking place around training.

Savile Row tailors Chester Barrie made an early start to be at Oval Park training ground this morning to start work on the players’ and coaches’ matchday suits.
Chester Barrie, Tigers’ official formalwear partner, have been providing matchday suits for the last three seasons and were taking the measurements of the first-team squad including Tom Youngs (pictured). Click here to see our Facebook gallery of photos from today’s suit fitting.
Official kit supplier Canterbury were also at Tigers today for an exclusive photo shoot with the new kit.
Ed Slater, Ben Youngs and Tom Croft, Anthony Allen, Blaine Scully and Julian Salvi, Graham Kitchener, Niall Morris and new arrival Christian Loamanu were among the players due to take part in the shoot.

The new Tigers home kit for the 2014-15 season will be officially unveiled at the club's Open Day on Saturday, August 9, when Tigers will throw open the Welford Road gates for supporters.
Fans will be able to pre-order the kit from Saturday, August 9 and it will be on sale in the Tigers Store at Welford Road and online on Friday, August 22. It is due to be worn for the first time in the pre-season double header fixture against Cardiff Blues at Welford Road on Friday, August 29.
The alternative kit will be officially unveiled during the pre-season double header when it will be worn by the Tigers team in their game against Doncaster Knights. It is expected that the kit will be on sale in the Tigers Store at Welford Road and online at the first home game of the Aviva Premiership season on Saturday, September 6.
