Premiership Rugby backs Sport Relief steps challenge

Figure image

Leicester Tigers and Premiership Rugby are backing Sport Relief by asking the nation to take on a huge collective challenge.

Sport Relief is back for 2018 and is asking people to come together to walk one billion steps a day, every day for a week.

The huge collective challenge will take place from 17 to 23 March, and the public are being called on to make their steps count.

Running, dancing or dog walking all count towards the step total as the nation comes together to raise money and help vulnerable people, across the UK and the world, to live happier, healthier and safer lives.

And with some of the money raised going to projects like HITZ, Premiership Rugby’s award-winning social inclusion programme, now is a perfect time for you to sign up.

To help the nation keep track of their hard-earned steps and ensure they count towards the national total, the Sport Relief App is available to download for free from the App Store and Google Play. Packed with innovative challenges, exclusive celebrity content and an inbuilt national step tracker to keep count towards the billion, it will also include ways to get active and raise money for Sport Relief.

Since 2002, Sport Relief has raised more than £335 million, with all the money raised by the public being used to tackle critical issues affecting people across the UK and the world.
