It’s round two in the Investec Champions Cup and after a bonus-point win to start the competition, Leicester Tigers face a tough test in Paris against Stade Francais.

Stade Jean Bouin hosts what is an intriguing fixture, with both sides making changes from their round one lineups.

TEAM NEWS

England International Joe Marchant’s inclusion in the centres headline’s Stade’s selection on this side of the channel, but Stade fans will be focusing on the return of backrower Sekou Macalou after a month on the sidelines.

Tigers are boosted by the return of George Martin and Anthony Watson, but have chosen to freshen up a chunk of their regular starters in the midst of 22 straight fixtures to start the season.

STATS AND FACTS

Leicester Tigers have won their last four matches since their 25-29 reversal to Harlequins at Mattioli Woods Welford Road in Premiership Rugby on 11 November.

The Tigers have lost just two of their last seven Champions Cup ties, at home to Ospreys and away at Leinster in the quarter-final last season.

Leicester have won their last five fixtures with Top-14 opponents since losing the 2021 Challenge Cup final to Montpellier at Twickenham, although the last four victories have all been against Clermont Auvergne! Tigers have won on their last four visits to France since their 19-34 defeat at Toulon in September 2020.

The two clubs have met on eleven previous occasions, all in the Champions Cup, with Leicester having the slight edge by six wins to five.
