Friday night lights at Kingston Park awaits Leicester Tigers take on Newcastle Falcons on their home patch in round 14 of the Gallagher Premiership.

Falcons, under new boss Steve Diamond, have been knocking at the door for a win, and will be hoping to turn over a Tigers team needing a response after last week’s defeat to Gloucester.


Falcons are without backrow Guy Pepper and there’s no place for former Tiger, Matias Moroni.

Tigers are without the majority of their international talent but do welcome back prop Will Hurd.


Leicester Tigers three game winning run in Gallagher Premiership Rugby ended with their 25 - 27 loss to Gloucester at Mattioli Woods Welford Road last Friday.

Leicester’s only defeat in their last eight fixtures with Newcastle in Premiership Rugby was 26-45 on their most recent visit to Kingston Park in January 2023.

The Tigers have lost on two of their last three visits to Kingston Park in all tournaments.

Overall, the two clubs have met on 70 previous occasions with Leicester winning 51 to 16 by Newcastle and 3 games drawn. Twenty-six of those clashes have been at Kingston Park, where the Tigers record is won 15, drawn 2, lost 9.
