Leicester Tigers return to action after two fixture-free weekends on Sunday (February 19) against Saracens.

In the club’s first outing for 23 days, Tigers host the league leaders at Mattioli Woods Welford Road in Round 17 of the 2022/23 Gallagher Premiership.

Both sides are without several players, away on international duty for the Guinness Six Nations, for the third meeting between the clubs this season.

Tigers and Saracens met for the first time in the 2022/23 campaign back in Round 4, on October 1st, when the home side were victorious 51-18 at StoneX Stadium before facing off again in London in the Premiership Rugby Cup when a young Leicester outfit came away with a 37-point, 8-35, win in the November fixture.

Mattioli Woods Welford Road has hosted 45 previous matches, of the 95 played between the sides, before this weekend.

In the near-century of games played between the clubs, Tigers have a 61% win rate over Saracens.

The most recent meeting in Leicester was in Round 3 of the 2021/22 season when Tigers scored a last-minute try to record a one-point, 13-12, win over Saracens.

Tickets are still available for the Round 4 fixture from the Tigers Ticket Office HERE.
