Argentina duo Horacio Agulla and Lucas Amorosino revisit the scene of some of their great triumphs in the Marcos Ayerza Testimonial Challenge this weekend.Welford Road hosts the match between Leicester Tigers and Los Pumas in the first action of the 2015/16 campaign.   Backline partners Agulla and Amorosino both enjoyed Premiership title wins in their time with Leicester and return as enthusiastic visitors with the Pumas squad in their final warm-up for the World Cup.   “I always like to come back here and play at Welford Road, with the atmosphere and the fans,” said Agulla, who topped the supporters’ vote as Player of the Season in 2011/12 before moving to Bath.   “We have a few things to fix after the second Test against South Africa and this is a perfect weekend for us against a side as good as Leicester.”   Agulla could come up against his international colleague and good friend Gonzalo Camacho in a Tigers shirt and also saluted the achievements of fellow Argentinian Ayerza after almost a decade of service at Leicester.   “I was lucky enough to be in the same team with Marcos at Leicester for a couple of seasons and I know how the fans love him and support him,” Agulla said.   “I know how important he is for the club and the team. With everything he has done at Leicester, he deserves this. I hope he has the best weekend he can ask for.”   Amorosino will be best remembered in his time as a Tigers player for scoring the try in the historic victory over South Africa in 2010 and says he is looking forward to an opportunity to run out at his former home again.   “I am happy to be back here and have the opportunity to stay in Leicester again with Argentina,” he said.   “It is a really important game for us as it is the last game before the World Cup.   “I have really good memories of Welford Road. I remember that try against South Africa. It was a really good moment in my life and for the club.”   Tickets for Saturday’s match are available now from the Tigers ticket office, from the ticket office hotline on 0116 319 8888 or click here to book online.
