Youngsters from Fairfield Primary School had a day to remember as they visited Welford Road to learn about rail safety with the British Transport Police.
Pupils enjoyed a tour of the stadium before a talk from police officers from the British Transport Police Leics.
Funded by Network Rail and in partnership with Leicester Tigers Inside Sport initiative, kids got the chance to learn about safety on our railways as well as get kitted out in police uniforms.
David McDonald, education and engagement manager at Leicester Tigers, said: “Inside Sport is a fun, interactive and educational experience for school pupils so being able to team up with the British Transport Police to deliver importance messages to youngsters is fantastic.
“We’re able to create tailored programmes that engage with pupils from all walks of life and support their learning through Leicester Tigers success. A huge thanks to the team from British Transport Police Leics for giving up their time and supporting the community.”
