Leicester Tigers set an EDF Energy Cup record on Saturday when an attendance of 17,118 watched the 42-20 win over Cardiff Blues at Welford Road.
That figure is a record for a pool game in the Anglo-Welsh tournament, surpassing the previous best of 16,057 set when Tigers hosted Newport Gwent Dragons last September.

Tigers managing director David Clayton said: "This season a new temporary stand at the Clubhouse End of the ground has allowed us to increase the capacity to beyond 17,000 and provide opportunities for even more supporters to join us on matchday.
"Everyone in rugby knows that Welford Road boasts a great atmosphere on matchday and we want as many supporters as possible to share in that."
Tickets for all Tigers home games in the Guinness Premiership, EDF Energy Cup and Heineken Cup, as well as the international between England Saxons and Ireland A on February 1, are on sale now from the Tigers ticket office.
