European Professional Club Rugby have confirmed the referees for the first two rounds of this season’s Champions Cup.
John Lacey, of Ireland, will take charge of Leicester Tigers’ opening game against French Top 14 side Racing 92 in Paris on Saturday, October 14. Kick-off at Stade Yves du Manoir is at 3.15pm UK time.
The Round Two fixture at Welford Road against another Top 14 team, Castres Olympique, will be refereed by George Clancy (Ireland).
