The Leicester Tigers fixture away to Bristol Bears next Wednesday will now be played behind closed doors following Government advice.

This fixture in Round 21 of the Gallagher Premiership season – and the match between Bath and Gloucester this evening (Tuesday) – were going to be part of a series of test events to pilot the safe return of spectators while adhering to social distancing measures.

Bristol Bears had been planning to welcome 1,000 supporters for the visit of the Tigers in the final midweek round of the campaign.

But Premiership Rugby Limited has now confirmed that, following Government advice, games will continue to go ahead without any supporters present.
