Robinson skippers Sharks in Cardiff semi

Figure image
Robinson skippers Sale Sharks Jason Robinson returns from international duty with England to lead Sale Sharks in their EDF Energy Cup semi-final against Leicester Tigers at Cradiff's Millennium Stadium on Saturday.

World Cup winner Robinson scored four tries for England during the RBS Six Nations Championship, and resumes at his club position of full-back, with international colleague Mark Cueto named on the wing.

Sharks report that Cueto has a slight calf strain but he is expected to play.

England prop Andrew Sheridan is four games into his comeback from a broken ankle and he links up with new England cap Stuart Turner in the front row alongside France international Sebastien Bruno.

Chris Jones is joined by Dean Schofield at lock, with Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe, Magnus Lund and Sebastien Chabal completing an all-international back row.

Head coach Kingsley Jones told the club website
www.salesharks.co.uk "We have trained well all week and it was good to see the return of the international players after the Six Nations. We are expecting a tough game but we believe we have selected a side that can win tomorrow."
