Freddie Steward has been voted as The RPA's MVP for December.

The Leicester Tigers outside-back was nominated as one of six players for December's shortlist alongside Ollie Hassell-Collins (London Irish), Ted Hill (Worcester Warriors), Nick Isiekwe (Saracens), Bevan Rodd (Sale Sharks) and Marcus Smith (Harlequins).

The Rugby Players Association (RPA) launched the 15 Under 23 in October 2021 to highlight the young players in the game who stand out throughout the 21/22 Gallagher Premiership season.

Each month, the RPA nominates six players aged 23 and under who have shone for their side in all competitions and will culminate in creating the ultimate Under 23 XV of the Season.

Fans have the chance to vote for their most valuable player (MVP) of the Month in a week long vote via the RPA’s official website.

The winners and all nominees will be put on the RPA long shortlist for the final 15 Under 23 which will be selected by the RPA’s Players Board in May.

The final team selection will be announced at the RPA Awards in May 2022.
