Micke Günter has been included in the South Africa squad ahead of the 2025 Rugby World Cup.
This will be the second World Cup for Günter, having also been included in the Springbok squad for the 2021 tournament in New Zealand, where she featured against the Red Roses.
The hooker, who signed with Leicester Tigers a couple of weeks ago, will join up with the Tigers squad for the first time following the tournament.
An experienced international for the Springboks, Gunter featured in every match of last year’s WXV competition (scoring against Australia’s Wallaroos) and started in the Boks’ recent tests, against Canada and a Black Ferns XV .
