Congratulations to Leicester Tigers fan Phil Slater who has won a Chester Barrie suit in a special season ticket holder giveaway.

Phil, from Coalville, was presented with his exclusive Chester Barrie Traveller Plus suit, modelled on the suits worn by the Tigers players this season, during half-time in Saturday’s home game against Worcester Warriors.

Phil said: “I’m very lucky and very excited to have won – let alone join the team on the pitch at half-time. I’ve never won anything like this before so it’s a real treat. 

“We’ve had a great day out here at Welford Road and have been season ticket holders for years. 

“Having a suit just like the players will make me feel even more like one of the Tigers family!”

The suit is water repellent, stain resistant and has an anti-bacterial lining to reduce odours, while the cloth is woven in such a way that all but the most stubborn of creases will drop out. They are available to purchase on the Chester Barrie website.   

The giveaway was a part of Chester Barrie’s Takeover Day which saw them host fans in the corporate suites at Welford Road as well as join the stage for a Q&A alongside Tigers players Manu Tuilagi and Luke Hamilton.
