Sale Sharks will add Leicester Tigers hooker Neil Briggs to their squad for the start of the 2015/16 season.Briggs, 29, played more than 100 times for Sale between 2005 and 2011, before a spell with Bourgoin in France and a season at London Welsh. He has made 21 appearances for Tigers since arriving at Welford Road in the summer of 2013.
A former England Saxons cap, Briggs will replace Marc Jones, who will be joining Bristol next season.
Director of rugby Steve Diamond said: "Neil needs no introduction to Sale fans. After leaving us, he has picked up a wealth of experience playing in France then with London Welsh and most recently with Leicester Tigers. I believe that Neil has got better and better as his career has developed.”
