Tigers take on Newcastle Falcons and Wasps this evening in the first day of the two-day tournament at Franklin’s Gardens.

The action will be shown live on BT Sport from 6pm with Tigers taking to the field to play Wasps at 7.28pm before taking on Newcastle at 8.56pm.

The Singha Premiership Rugby 7s will see a number of Loughborough University students represent Tigers in the first event of the new domestic season, following this weeks announcement of a new partnership between the university and the club

Tigers will be captained by Andrew Boyce, an England international at under-16, under-18 and under-20 levels.

The squad includes England 7s international Tom Fitch, Ireland Wolfhounds 7s international Jack Stapley and Scotland 7s international Alex Glashan, who represented his country at the 2011 Youth Commonwealth Games.

A late injury change on Friday meant Sam Hudson replaced Harry Nuttall from the announced team on Wednesday.

Ahead of Saturday's action Owen Waters replaces Will Kaye who picked up an injury in Tigers second match against Newcastle last night.

Last night and today's fixtures will also see the team wearing the new alternate kit which was revealed along with the traditional home strip earlier today.
