Tigers supporter Duncan Hutton enjoyed "a great evening" as he was named Season Ticket Holder of the Week at Friday's European Champions Cup fixture against Stade Francais and Welford Road.Duncan, his wife Corinne, daughter Elkana and son Isaac cheered Tigers to a 33-20 victory in the opening round of European competition from seats in the Tryline Club as their prize and were presented to the crowd on the pitch at half-time, where they had a photo taken with Tigers player Niall Morris.
“As a family, we’ve been season ticket holders for five years and sit in the MET-Rx Stand,” Duncan said.
“It was a great surprise to be named Season Ticket Holder of the Week. My wife was a bit worried about having to come down on to the pitch at half-time but I said it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, it’s been great.”
To recognise their contribution, the club has launched the Season Ticket Holder of the Match benefit when one fan selected at random and three family members and/or friends have the chance to experience hospitality Tigers style.
There will be another Season Ticket Holder of the Match at the next home game, against Bath Rugby on Sunday, November 29.
