Scrum-half Jason Spice has joined Leicester Tigers on a short-term loan.
Spice joins Tigers to provide cover in the absence of Ben Youngs, who is with the England squad for the autumn internationals, and the injured Sam Harrison, which left James Grindal who as the only senior scrum-half on the books ahead of this weekend’s Aviva Premiership fixture against Gloucester at Kingsholm.

The 35-year-old New Zealander has been playing in the national leagues with the Cornish All Blacks at Launceston since leaving Bristol in the summer.
After playing for the Blues and Hurricanes in New Zealand, Spice gained extensive experience in the UK with spells at the Ospreys and Cardiff Blues, as well as Bristol where he played a prominent part in their Championship challenge last season with six tries in 29 appearances.
