Tigers fans can play their part and get behind Welford as the club mascot attempts to run the London Marathon next month.
Welford will be running the world famous event on Sunday, October 3 with the goal of not only finishing the 26-mile distance but also raising a significant sum for the Leicester Tigers Foundation.
The Foundation helps to fund its work in special educational needs, outreach and community support within the disabled community, alongside the support of the Leicester Tigers Wheelchair Rugby team.
The support of the #Tigersfamily will be huge in providing the motivation to conquer the 26-mile challenge and sponsorship will be a big part of the Foundation’s goals in delivery of its programme after the challenges posed by Covid and lockdown over the last 18 months.
