Here's what the Stade supporters club had to say about your efforts...
"The Stade Francais supporters club would like to say a "big MERCI" to all of your staff and supporters in Welford Road for a memorable rugby weekend.
"Our first contact with your club came several weeks prior to the game when we contacted your grounds manager Jack Russell who provided us with advice on where to have our picnic, places to leave the coaches, and how to get our drums and flags into the grounds. (We are actually beginning to believe that he may also have ordered sunshine for our picnic as well!)
From the moment that our first coach load of supporters turned up at 8.30 in the morning until the last coach left after 11pm we were overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality extended to us.
Your grounds staff were especially understanding when it came to allowing our drummers to sit in the front row of our dedicated area (even though their seat were further back) and several Leicester fans even gave up their seats in order for us to do this (in exchange for some dashing pink t-shirts and flags !!!)
Although we didn't win we left Welford Road in high spirits and we hope that one day in the future we will be able to return the hospitality in Paris.
Once again many thanks and we wish you all the best for the rest of the Heineken Cup."
