The stage is set for the Leicester Music Festival.

The two-day event at Welford Road starts this morning (Friday) with gates opening at 11am with the music kicking off at 11am.
 
Brit Award-winner Tinie Tempah headlines tonight’s bill and will be supported by Professor Green, Soul II Soul and Katy B.
 
Street dance troupe Diversity, who appear on both days of the festival, were early visitors to Welford Road this morning to go through their routine.
 
They will all perform on a giant stage, which has been erected in front of the Holland & Barrett Stand and a protective cover has been laid over the pitch.
 
The weather forecast is for bright sunshine and high temperatures of 27C.
 
Labrinth, who collaborated with Tinie Tempah on their UK number one single Pass Out and had another chart-topper with Beneath Your Beautiful, featuring Emeli Sande, headlines the Saturday bill.
 
The support bill includes The Saturdays, Kool and the Gang, as well as Union J, Sam Bailey and UB40.
