The shortlist to find the Leicester Tigers players of the season - and how supporters can place their votes - will be revealed next week, with the awards to be presented at Welford Road on May 2.

The DX Annual Awards Night on Tuesday, May 2 features dinner in the company of the first-team squad and team management, plus interviews and entertainment throughout the evening and, of course, the supporters’ awards presentations.

Once the shortlist is revealed, voting will open to supporters to find the Newcomer of the Season, Young Player and Player of the Season, as well as honouring one squad member for Outstanding Service.

The fans' major awards last season were won by Telusa Veainu (Player and Newcomer), Harry Thacker (Young Player and Try), and Matt Smith (Outstanding Service).

A full list of nominations for 2016/17 will be published next week, together with details of how to place your vote online.

The DX Awards Night is a glittering annual occasion attended by first-team players and the coaching team alongside supporters. Tickets are available now, priced £60 for season ticket holders and £80 for all other supporters, including a three-course meal with a Tigers player at your table, interviews, video presentations and an opportunity to vote for your DX Try of the Season.

Hosted in the Premiership Suite in the Holland & Barrett Stand at Welford Road, this event has sold out in recent seasons, so book soon to guarantee a share of a great evening.

Book in person at the Tigers ticket office, phone 0116 319 8888 (option 2) or click here to book your place online.

Nominations for the Tigers Family Award are open now. This category seeks to recognise supporters who have made an outstanding contribution or overcome significant obstacles to show their passion for the club or celebrate its links with the community.
