Thank you to everyone who joined Richard Cockerill and chief executive Simon Cohen at a special meeting of the Tigers Supporters Forum at Welford Road on Tuesday evening.

Richard and Simon spent almost two hours answering questions on subjects including stadium redevelopment and facilities, player recruitment, injuries, the development of the game, European competition, the Academy, the ‘A’ League and many other subjects.

Chris Rose, head of brand at Tigers, said: “The Supporters Forum consists of fans who represent all categories within our supporter base and meets regularly with senior club officials at Welford Road to discuss issues that affect them.

“Feedback from supporters is very important and helps us run the club.

“This evening we opened up the Forum to any supporters who wanted to join us and put their questions to Simon and Richard.”

The aims of the supporters forum are:
1 To allow supporters to communicate directly with the club in a structured manner.
2 To help the club better understand the issues that most affect and concern our fans.
3 To give the club an opportunity to explain the thinking behind key decisions.
4 To enable fans to play a key role in helping the club achieve success on and off the pitch.
5 To provide transparency about key issues that affect supporters.
