Sign up a Welford Road first-time visitor to any Leicester Tigers home match and they could win a great gift and have it presented on the pitch at half-time.Laura Heggs from Melton Mowbray was our First Time Visitor winner during Sunday’s match against Bath Rugby and collected a goodie bag.
“I’ve come with friends to celebrate a 31st birthday,” said Laura. “There are 35 of us here, all to celebrate with Jo Durrance. It’s a nice surprise to win something too!”
My First Matchday aims to give first-time visitors to the home of Tigers a memorable experience.
You can sign up a first-time visitor online at leicestertigers.com/myfirstmatchday or on a home matchday with a Games Keeper around the stadium and they will be put into a prize draw to win a bag of Tigers goodies.
Games Keepers are members of the Tigers customer services team who are stationed on the plaza in front of the MET-Rx stand and around the ground on matchdays to lend a helping hand, to promote Tigers family traditions and to support fans to ensure everyone has a great day out.
The next home game is against Munster Rugby in the European Rugby Champions Cup on Sunday, December 20. Kick-off is at 5.15pm. The Welford Road ticket office is open to visitors 9.00am-5.00pm weekdays and Saturday, and from 9.00am on Sunday matchdays, or 8.30am-5.00pm for callers using the hotline 0116 319 8888 (option 2).
