Mathew Tait has been voted the Goldsmiths Player of the Month.The Leicester Tigers full-back was announced as the winner of January’s award during half-time of the sold-out LV= Cup game against Northampton Saints at Welford Road.   Tait was voted the winner by Tigers supporters ahead of teammates Fraser Balmain and Miles Benjamin.   He joins this season’s previous Goldsmiths Player of the Month winners Graham Kitchener, Julian Salvi, Jamie Gibson and Harry Thacker.   The Tigers Player of the Month award is supported by Goldsmiths, the largest prestige and luxury jewellers in the UK, who are also official East Stand sponsors and official timekeepers.
