Premiership Rugby has relaunched Bloggers' Bench, its platform for the country's top rugby bloggers to showcase their work. The umbrella organisation of Aviva Premiership Rugby is looking to recruit and promote rugby bloggers, and to champion their work between now and the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final at Twickenham on May 30.
The successful bloggers will:
* Be showcased in a new section on premiershiprugby.com, writing about Aviva Premiership Rugby
* Invited to the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final to watch the match from the Commentators' Gantry and attend the post-match press conference. Their report from the Final will be published on premiershiprugby.com as will their other writing
* Receive expert guidance in the art of writing and editing
Rugby bloggers specialising in the Aviva Premiership should email Premiership Rugby communications director Paul Morgan at [email protected] for the chance to become a member of the Bloggers' Bench.
"The digital age has changed the way we read our rugby writing and bloggers are becoming a more and more important part of the media landscape," he said.
"We ran it for the first time last season and it was a massive success showcasing the work of some talented writers and giving them a platform they so richly deserve.
"Those who took part last time are welcome to apply again. We can't wait to view the applications from bloggers young and old again."
