More than 5,000 young rugby players joined Leicester Tigers for a matchday coaching clinic session in 2018.
Matchday coaching clinics invite clubs and teams to take part in a dedicated training session with Leicester Tigers coaches the morning of a Tigers’ home fixture, before a visit to Welford Road to watch the game.
The training session looks at all aspects of the game from defence and attack, to developing individual skills and developing your understanding of the game.
Not only that, during your training session you’ll be joined by a Leicester Tigers players for your very own Q&A – find out what it takes to be a professional rugby player and what it’s like to play for Leicester Tigers.
Around 320 clubs, groups and teams from across the UK and abroad visited Leicester Tigers throughout 2018 as part of a matchday coaching clinic, visiting local rugby clubs for their training session.
Delivered by Leicester Tigers’ community team, the day gets even better as groups are then invited onto the famous Welford Road pitch for a team photo with another Tigers player.
