Ticket ballot in the event of restricted crowds

With restricted crowds returning to sporting venues, Leicester Tigers can now update the Tigers Family on what would happen if the city moved into Tier 1 or 2 from the current Tier 3 and supporters were allowed back inside the stadium at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.

With a maximum of only 4,000 spaces available even in Tier 1 and more than 10,000 season tickets for 2020/21, the club will be offering those season ticket holders and seasonal hospitality members absolute priority on available seats.

Who would be able to attend any matches in these circumstances will be determined by ballot.

Season ticket holders will be asked to apply for each individual match they wish to attend because it is extremely important to the club that every available seat is filled and we appreciate that circumstances will change for everyone quite quickly.

Season ticket general admission:

Supporters will be able to apply with other season ticket holders in their ‘bubble’ on a one-per-season-ticket-holder basis and you will be able to sit with them if you are successful in the ballot.

Due to the restrictions on stadium useage and social distancing within it, your seat may not be in your usual place, so we will ask season ticket holders not to join the ballot if this is an issue.

Supporters who require Accessible Seating will be able to ask for this during the ballot, but we will have very restricted numbers of these spaces available.

There will be a supporter Code of Conduct to sign up to, alongside measures to keep you safe and socially distanced while attending a game, all of which will be detailed as part of the application process.

Season ticket holders who choose not to enter the ballot or who are unsuccessful in it, will at this stage still be eligible for a rebate on that fixture.

If there are any seats remaining after the season ticket ballot, additional tickets will be made available to Club Membership holders on a one-per-membership basis. Details of our new Membership Scheme will be released tomorrow (Saturday).

Season ticket rebates will be calculated after our seventh home match against Worcester Warriors in February and again at the end-of-the-regular-season match against Bristol Bears. Your rebate will be available to you within six weeks of those games. Details of how this rebate will be returned to you will be communicated nearer those times.

Season ticket hospitality

All Tigers seasonal hospitality members in the 1880 Club, 502 Lounge, Executive Boxes, ClubHouse and Try Line Club will be contacted by the sales team to detail their opportunities.
